Hi Guys and Gals,
In the past few months we have experienced so many problems with new recruits about them not knowing how to use teamspeak and how to enter private server, that we decided that to open a topic which would include all of these problems in one place so that they don't have to look around for it.
Before i start, apart from the basic rules remember that don't use any foul language in the server and don't accuse anyone of cheating. if they are cheating they will be caught by Foresight. Soon we will also open an Incident Log Book in which members can write anything which might cause a problem in future e.g. like a verbal fight between two other clan members or someone flying in the air or someone shooting with a machine gun things like that, so that we should know in future if that banned person posts in our forum saying he or she hasn't done anything we can look at the incident log book and find out what really happened.
TeamSpeak (X-Terminater)
To start with i am going to take the teamspeak issue.
It is compulsory now that each member who comes on trainings and internal clan matches should have teamspeak installed on his computer. The link is below

Hopefully you will get connected to the server's teamspeak.
Apart from that we, =[B|K]=, recommend that the teamspeak should be on "push to talk setting", which means that in order to talk the user must push a button.
This can be done by going to "Settings" sub-menu and clicking on "Sound Input/Output Settings". in this menu you can raise and lower the Microphone volume so that people could hear you loud and clear not too loud. and also you can choose the push to talk method and can select a button to use to talk. since i have a five button mouse i use my mouse's third button to talk. it makes it easy to talk while i shoot and doesn't disturb other people on teamspeak having to listen to my background noise.
In the "Settings" Menu you also have "Key Settings". this key settings is important because you can make shortcuts like shifting from one channel, allies, to another channel , axis, just by the push of a button. you must get yourself familiarised with this because different squads need to communicate with themselves with different buttons.
In the "Settings" sub-menu you can choose "Options" to configure your microphone or speakers, if you have more than two microphone and you prefer one on the other you can choose which one to use. If you don't get any microphones than there might be a problem with the drivers you installed.
Private Slots & ServerPassword (X-Terminater)
After TeamSpeak i will divert your attention towards Private Slots and Private Server. By Private server i mean a server with password. Many new recruits had and some still have this problem of not getting themselves connected to the private server.
Before i start with private server or private slots i am going to explain how to apply password to connect to a private server or private slot.
1. This is where all the magic should happen. i mean to start with this is should be the main menu in front of you.

2. Then click this button "~"

3. When you get the console down write "Password ******** ". Remember that the word Password should always be written with a capital "P" and there should be a space in between the word password and the real password. and do press enter when finished typing the password. e.g. "Password jumpout" Enter. this picture will help you out.

4. When you have pressed Enter after typing connect to the server either by browsing servers or typing the clan ip. i.e. 217.163.10.204. and click connect.

Now to do some explaining. Sometimes there are a lot of other people playing on our server therefore leaving no space for our own clan members. for this reason we have created Private Slots. the server has saved up 4 slots for the clan members and can be only accessed by password. the password to join the clan on private slot is written in Members only section in "Member Only Private Slot". the password is there and its an announcement so it is hard to miss.
To join the server for training, the password is usually sent to you guys on email but if you don't get it join the teamspeak and soldat or some other members to give it to you.

The reason is simple. Go to settings and click advanced.

When you have done that make sure that the console box is checked other wise the console wont open.

Is your nickname too long to fit the clan tags? Easy to fix!
Just bring down the console (Make Sure You Have The Console Activated,
LOOK HERE) and type: name =[B|K]=Your_Nick_Name{Rct}
Then Press Enter (Return) key. Its as simple as that. But you need the "_" in place of the spaces!
